Married Woman

The Married Woman is a beautiful saga of a woman’s journey of self-discovery, set against the backdrop of Babri Masjid demolition in 1992. Two women, Astha and Peeplika, struggle to get rid of their religious, sexual, and societal hindrances to find each other in the midst of political unrest in the 90s. When these two finally meet, they instantly realize that they have found a piece of the missing puzzle. What happens when their souls connect? Do they rise above societal boundaries to break free or are they trapped forever within the constraints of social norms?
